Springdale Stars

We are excited for the 2026 Summer Swim Season and have updated our webpage with the most current information for the upcoming summer season! 

Swim team welcomes any children age 5-18 (or going into their senior year in high school) to join the team. On occasion, we have allowed 4 year olds to join the team, but they must be able to travel the full length of the pool unassisted. All swim team swimmers must be members of the Springdale pool. 

This year we will compete in Division VI of the Central Maryland Swim League (CMSL). The league is made up of 9 divisions with 5-6 teams in each division. The divisions are designed to make the meets competitive. Geographical location is not a factor in determining the divisions. The other teams included in our Division are: Five Oaks, Freedom, Woodbridge Valley, and Hunting Hills. Our schedule features a TRI meet with Lochearn & Chartridge. All swim meets are scheduled on Saturday mornings with the exception of Fri July 3rd.

In-person registration will be held at Springdale Pool on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 from 5:15-7:15pm. This will provide you an opportunity to sign-up your swimmers, meet the coaches and swim reps, and try-on swim suits and be guided in ordering team swimsuits online. 

Wednesday, ***correction*** June 3RD, 2026 at 6:30pm Informational Mandatory Parent Meeting will be held at Springdale Pool, Lower Pavilion. (No Swim Practices)
